The Flex joint is made of a butyl elastomer that has excellent resistance to ozone attack, good resistance to constant temperature (up to + 90° C). In addition, it has good resistance to chemical products: it perfectly resists alkaline and saline solutions; it perfectly resists water and water vapor; it perfectly resists polar solvents such as alcohol and acetone.
